Pay a seller from your PayPal balance. You see who you are paying and the total before anything leaves your account.

What you can count on
Nothing leaves the balance until you accept the person, the amount, and any fee on the confirmation screen.
The payment stays in the list with the date, the other person, and the amount you approved.
If a line looks wrong, open it and contact support from the email on the account. We reply there.
The details
Read this before you send, request, or pay. Each point is one thing the screen will ask you to check.
1. Shop as usual
Add what you are buying and go to checkout.
2. Choose PayPal
Pick PayPal when the seller offers it as a way to pay.
3. Review the seller
Check the store name. If it is not the shop you meant, stop.
4. Review the amount
The amount should match your cart, including tax or shipping if the seller added them.
5. Confirm
Your balance pays the seller. The payment is listed in Activity.
6. Need the receipt
Open that Activity line later if you have to show what you paid.
