PayPal
If something goes wrong.
Start from Activity. Find the payment, then tell PayPal what you expected and what happened.

What you can count on
Nothing leaves the balance until you accept the person, the amount, and any fee on the confirmation screen.
The payment stays in the list with the date, the other person, and the amount you approved.
If a line looks wrong, open it and contact support from the email on the account. We reply there.
The details
Read this before you send, request, or pay. Each point is one thing the screen will ask you to check.
Open Activity
Look for the name, date, and amount. That is the payment we need.
You did not send it
Change your password, then contact us and say the payment was not yours.
You did not get the item
Tell us the order, what you paid, and what the seller said.
You paid the wrong person
Contact us quickly with their email and the amount. Do not send a second payment to “fix” it until you have talked to us.
A request you do not recognize
Do not pay it. Paying a request is a confirmation, the same as sending.
What we do
Support reviews what you send and replies to the email on your account.
