Send
Send money.
Sending with PayPal pays someone from your balance. You choose the person, enter the amount, read the fee if there is one, and confirm. Until you confirm, the money stays where it is.
1. Log in
Use the account that holds the money you want to send.
2. Choose who
Pick someone you have paid before, or enter their email. Check the name before you continue.
3. Enter the amount
Type what you want them to receive. Add a note so they know what it is for.
4. Read the total
The screen shows the amount, any fee, and what leaves your balance.
5. Confirm
Send only when the person and the total are right. It then shows in Activity.
If it looks wrong
Do not confirm. If you already sent it, open Activity and contact support from Help.
Before you confirm
The person
Read the name and the email. A small change in the address sends the money to someone else.
The total
The screen shows the amount, any fee, and what leaves the balance. That number is the one you approve.
The record
After you confirm, the payment is in Activity with the date and the person. Use that line if you need to ask about it later.
